### Job Description

Preparing and implementing of the divisional budget;

Managing of operations of the facilities in an effective and efficient manner;

coordinating, planning and managing of events;

Participating in letting of vacant properties and rent reviews;

Repairing and maintaining facilities,

Initiating the development and review of divisional guidelines

Coordinating the implementation of the divisional guidelines;

Developing long term and short-term Plans for various facilities programs

Initiating interventions for refurbishment and modernization of facilities

Ensuring optimal utilization of the facilities

Job Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:-

Minimum of fifteen (15) years cumulative relevant work experience, three (3) at management level or in a comparable position;

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Physical Education; Sports Science; Exercise, Leisure and Recreation Management or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognized;

Master’s degree in any of the following: Physical Education; Sports Science; Exercise, Leisure and Recreation Management or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognized;

Certificate in Leadership Course lasting not less than (4) four weeks from a recognized institution

Membership with a professional body in good standing, where applicable;

Proficiency in computer applications;

Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
