Deputy Camps Supervisor overseeing service provision at satellite camps including food and beverage, housekeeping, groundskeeping and facility maintenance, requiring a diploma in Hospitality Management, Foods and Dietetics or Home Economics and at least 3 years relevant experience, in a wind farm camps environment, on-site role.

Duties & Responsibilities

OPERATIONS

• Assist Camps management to plan, organise, direct, and coordinate wind farm functions
• Coordinate with the facility manager supervisors, for efficient management of staff accommodation bookings at the Satellite Camps/Barriers.
• Provide customer service support to Camps Management in engagement with clients at the Satellite Camps/Barriers.
• Oversee service provision at all Satellite Camps/Barriers:Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Groundskeeping, Facility maintenance.
• Ensure all Satellite Camp irrigation systems are in good working order.
• Ensure all power systems (Solar & Generator) are in good working order and adequately fuelled.
• Daily Satellite Camp POB confirmation
• Assist in the planning and execution of annual calendar events/functions/open days.
• Regular posting on Safety Culture and monitoring/close out of Camps related issues.
• Monitor and coordinate to ensure utility water is available at all Satellite Camps; – Boreholes/Pipeline/Reticulation/Deliveries.
• Monitor Satellite Camps Access Control requests and handle standby cards.
• Work towards achieving all KPI’s set for the year and maintain relevant documentation.
• Incident reporting.
• Boreholes/Pipelines routine checks and reporting.
• Conduct weekly inspection at various camps (zones).

  COMPLIANCE OVERSIGHT

• Supervise services providers (SLA’s) when performing Satellite Camps facility maintenance works ref. – Kitchen, Laundry, Fumigation, ROP, STP, Access control, HVAC etc
• Ensure compliance with LTWP’s OHS Policy and related procedures across the Camps.
• ESMS – Camps Management Plan – Join in on inspections for audit compliance.
• Ensure All LTWP Camps/Barriers comply ref HSE, ESMS and HACCP.
• Ensure Summit Top Camp complies ref HSE, ESMS and HACCP.
• Act in compliance with LTWP policies & procedures, and HSE Golden Rules.

  REPORTING

•  Prompt report of non-compliance of service delivery, to Camps Management.
• Weekly Camps Operations report update/generation.

 OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• To support the behaviour of working as LTWP, sharing best practice, and collaborating with colleagues outside of own sphere of business.
• To ensure full participation in the Performance Appraisal Review (PAR) process and maintain an up-to-date record of all training and development activities/programs.
• To always act and behave in a way compliant with all LTWP company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to values and behaviours, environmental health and safety, ethics and codes of conduct, as it is through living our values that we strengthen the culture of our business and demonstrate our understanding of our Code of Conduct. 
•  Any other duties deemed necessary and relevant by the management in the smooth running of the Wind Farm Site operations

Requirements

• Diploma in hospitality management, foods and dietetics, home economics or equivalent qualifications
• At least 3 years relevant experience
