Job description
Maintain and uphold high level standards of operations, controls, audit and compliance in Loans Booking and processing; observing all KYC requirements in all transactions, eliminate errors, operational losses and fraud and adhering to all laid down processes/procedures. Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities) Internal Business Processes (80%) Ensure all loans and instructions are processed with 100% accuracy and within stipulated TATs, with timely escalation of delays. Promptly review and resolve loan queries, CRM issues, Credit Admin items, unauthorised AA transactions and other operational issues, providing timely feedback and escalation where required. Support loan processing, system projects, testing and Temenos-related issues, ensuring identified gaps are raised and resolved before deployment. Ensure all approval conditions are correctly indicated, signed off and adhered to. Maintain high standards of customer service, confidentiality and compliance with prescribed SLAs to minimise complaints. Reduce operational errors, reversals and delinquencies arising from internal errors and ensure prompt rectification. Maintain proper, up-to-date filing and documentation for easy retrieval and audit readiness. Remain up-to-date with process flows and SLAs, and propose process improvements where applicable. Support the team in achieving a satisfactory Departmental Audit rating, customer satisfaction index above 70%, and call abandon rate below 10%. Identify and close revenue leakage streams, ensure 100% revenue collection as per bank tariffs, and minimise operational expenses. Perform other duties as assigned by management and support the Credit Operations Department as required. Customer (10%) Open 10 new accounts annually. Achieve an average minimum monthly balance of TZS 20M per cross-sell. Learning & Growth (10%) Learn from other team members to enhance service delivery and support colleagues in achieving their objectives. Facilitate, monitor and suggest initiatives that support team performance. Complete at least 40 hours of learning/training through E-learning, internal and external training. Ensure compliance with the leave policy, including block leave and minimum carry-over of 6 days. Uphold all NCBA core values at all times. Job Specifications Academic: Bachelor’s degree Professional: Professional Banking Qualification (ACIB) Job Competencies Technology Skills: Computer literate with proficiency in computerized financial analysis applications.
