POSITION: COOK/CHEFOVERVIEWWe are a busy, high standard restaurant serving delicious modern international and local cuisine. Our restaurant has an extremely good reputation. We are looking for a skilled Cook/Chef to prepare delicious meals according to menu. We are looking for someone with at least four years experience cooking in different styles and cuisines – everything from traditional Malawian classics to Asian and Italian-inspired dishes. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele. The position is located in the rural areas of Nkhotakota. Our Chef will be accommodated in the nearby village.KEY REQUIREMENTSProven experience as cook.Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.).Ability to follow strict sanitation and health procedures.Ability to work in a team and sometimes under pressure.Very good communication skills.Excellent physical condition and stamina.Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCook food in various utensils or grillers.Check food while cooking to stir or turn.Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.Check quality of ingredients.Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.POSITION: AUTO MECHANICOVERVIEWWe are a lodge in rural Nkhotakota and have a small fleet of old cars, mainly Isuzu as well as 3 Gensets. We are looking for an analytical, enthusiastic auto mechanic to maintain and repair the cars and engines. You will also maintain workshop equipment and assist in general lodge repairs.You should be focused on providing high-quality service to identify, repair and avert issues that may affect the performance or longevity of our vehicles. You should be thorough, reliable, honest, logical, and motivated.KEY REQUIREMENTSProven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles and follow safety instructions and directions.Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment.Very good problem-solving, and communication skills.Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic. Has to work with little supervision.Prepared to live in a rural village.Valid driver's license.Must be a mature person with many years of experience.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWorking with other members of staff to diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of vehicles.Performing test drivers, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exist and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, and replacing brakes.Repairing damage to the body of the vehicle and washing and painting the vehicle's exterior.Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly, maintaining accurate records about the vehicles.Using shop equipment as instructed, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.HOW TO APPLYEmail: careers@musandi.deClosing Date: 31st August 2026
