Key Purpose Statement
The Controller Stock is responsible for controlling all movement of stock through the Warehouse.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Stock Movement Tracking:
- Record all stock movements, including receipts, dispatches, and transfers.
- Ensure accurate documentation of stock transactions in the inventory management system.
Production Support
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust stock levels accordingly.
Loss Prevention
- Identify and report discrepancies or potential issues in stock levels.
- Implement measures to prevent stock loss and damage.
Reporting
- Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management.
- Provide insights on stock trends and potential shortages or surpluses
Skills, Experience & Education
- Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in inventory or stock control, preferably in a production or bottling environment.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
- Familiarity with production processes and material requirements.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining loss prevention measures.
- Experience in preparing and presenting inventory reports.
