Zamara is recruiting a Content & Production Officer for Multimedia & PR. The job is based in Nairobi and requires experience in digital content creation, video production, and public relations.Key Roles & ### Responsibilities Achieving Zamara’s ambitious strategic priorities will be complex and challenging. Its continued success will be dependent on building and retaining a world-class team.We are looking to onboard a Content and Production Officer to support the execution of video, multimedia, and content initiatives while driving PR, internal communications and media engagement across owned, earned and paid channels. The role ensures consistent storytelling, strong stakeholder visibility, and timely delivery of content.Key ### Responsibilities include:Content Production & Delivery (40%)Coordinate video and multimedia production from brief to final deliverySupport execution of shoots, edits and post-production processesEnsure outputs align to brand standards and campaign objectivePR, Media & Stakeholder Engagement (30%)Support development and execution of PR plans for campaigns and key initiativesLiaise with media to secure and manage earned coverage, including interviews and feature placementsDevelop and support thought leadership content (op-eds, blogs, articles) for both the business and key spokespeopleAssist in drafting press releases, press packs, media briefs and internal communicationsCoordinate content across owned channels (website, social, internal platforms) and support paid amplification where requiredTrack media coverage and maintain up-to-date media contact listsSupport internal engagement initiatives (townhalls, campaigns, employee storytelling)Provide support in crisis communication readiness and response (monitoring, drafting holding statements, coordinating internal and external messaging across online and offline channels)Project Coordination & Pipeline Management (15%)Track content and campaign pipeline across multiple projectsMaintain clear status updates (in progress, scheduled, not started)Ensure alignment to marketing calendar and delivery timelinesVendor & Creative Support (10%)Coordinate with external creatives, production partners, and media partnersSupport briefing, feedback, and approvals processesMonitor quality and adherence to scopeContent Asset Management & Reporting (5%)Organize and maintain content libraries and backups (cloud + physical)Provide basic reporting on content delivery, PR coverage, and timelinesFlag risks, delays, and gaps earlyKey Deliverables Timely delivery of video coverage and edits, multimedia and campaign contentConsistent PR coverage, thought leadership outputs and media engagementPublished articles, op-eds, and blogs supporting business positioningUp-to-date production and media trackerOrganized, accessible content and media asset repositoryQualification and Experience The following experience is preferred:Degree/Diploma in Digital Marketing, Communications, Media, PR or related field3–5 years’ experience in content production, PR, or agency/in-house marketing rolesExperience in media relations, content writing, and thought leadership developmentExposure to video/multimedia production workflows is an added advantageKey ### Skills & Competencies Strong coordination and execution capabilitySolid understanding of PR, media relations, and content creation and distribution channelsExcellent writing and storytelling ### skills (editorial + corporate tone)Stakeholder and vendor managementAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesHow to Apply Many qualified professionals miss out on getting shortlisted and interviews — not because they lack experience, but because their CV doesn’t clearly show how they fit this specific job.🎯 Want to get an interview fast?
