Job Summary
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including performing surgeries and managing patients with various eye conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to detect vision problems, eye diseases, and other conditions.
- Perform cataract surgeries and other eye surgeries with precision and care.
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases, injuries, and other disorders of the eye
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
- Educate patients on eye health and preventive measures.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote eye health awareness.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
Education and Experience
- Master Degree (MMED or Equivalent) in Ophthalmology.
- Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an ophthalmologist in a clinical setting.
- Proven experience of performing at least 200 manual cataract surgeries.
- Competence in performing other ophthalmology procedures.
