Vacancy: Construction Manager Location: Gauteng (Travel to project sites may be required) About the Company We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Construction Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Minimum Requirements: Degree or National Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry.Proven experience in: Building constructionCivil worksQuantity surveyingProject planning and schedulingContract administrationCost estimation and budget controlStrong knowledge of construction contracts and industry regulations.Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software (MS Project or similar).Valid South African driver's licence.Willingness to travel to project sites when required.Key Responsibilities: Manage building and civil construction projects from planning through to completion.Oversee site operations, subcontractors, and project teams.Prepare project programmes and monitor progress against deadlines.Manage project budgets, cost control, and procurement processes.Conduct quantity measurements, valuations, and cost reporting.Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.Prepare project reports and attend progress meetings.Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.Ensure all work meets the required quality standards and contractual specifications.Skills and competencies: Strong leadership and people management skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.High level of attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Excellent organisational and time-management skills.How to apply: Interested candidates should submit: A comprehensive CVQualificationsContactable referencesEmail to [[admin@tshiamelo.co.za]] or whatsapp to 060 912 9359 Only shortlisted candidates within the Gauteng region will be contacted.
