## Job Description

Medical Jobs, Startup Lions Jobs. Responsible for mobilizing community members for health services, immunization and outreach programmes, conducting household visits, promoting hygiene, sanitation, nutrition and disease prevention, supporting maternal and child health activities, providing health education, promoting treatment adherence and referrals, collecting community health data, and maintaining accurate records. Requires a Certificate or Diploma in Community Health or Public Health, relevant professional registration. The position is based in Lodwar and requires on-site work.

### Key Responsibilities

Community Health Services

- Mobilize community members for health services, immunization, and outreach programs.

- Conduct household visits to promote hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, and disease prevention. 

- Support maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health initiatives.

Health Education & Promotion

- Deliver health education sessions on priority public health issues.

- Promote treatment adherence, referrals, and follow-up care within the community. 

Data Collection & Reporting

- Collect, record, and submit community health data and reports using approved MoH tools. 

- Maintain accurate records of community activities and referrals.

Coordination & Compliance

- Work closely with dispensary staff and community health volunteers (CHVs).

- Adhere to MoH guidelines, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements.

- Participate in training, meetings, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

- Certificate or Diploma in Community Health or Public Health from a recognized institution.

- Registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable).

- At least one (1) year experience in community health or public health programs preferred.
