Engineering Jobs. Knight Frank Jobs. Looking for an engineering job in Kenya? Knight Frank is hiring a Commercial Building Electrician to install, maintain and support the reliable operation of building services. The role is based in Nairobi and experience in building maintenance is required.

### Key Responsibilities

- Respond promptly to service requests and repair electrical systems efficiently, minimising downtime.

- Conduct preventative maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, equipment, and fixtures.

- Handle contingency power systems, including generators and UPS.

- Supervise electrical works carried out by contractors within the building.

- Inspect systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or non-compliance with codes.

- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and operational records.

- Ensure full compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations at all times.

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for installation work.

- Perform physically demanding tasks, including working from ladders/scaffolds and conduit installation.
