## Job Description

Job Summary

- Pearl Hospital is a Level 4 multi-specialty hospital in Laikipia County. Guided by our values of Quality, Efficiency, Professionalism, and Compassion, we are seeking a Clinical Officer to provide quality medical care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients in accordance with established clinical guidelines and protocols.

### Key Responsibilities

- Conduct patient consultations including history taking and physical examinations.

- Diagnose and manage common medical conditions.

- Prescribe and administer appropriate treatment and medications.

- Order and interpret laboratory diagnostic tests.

- Provide emergency and first-line care to patients.

- Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols.

- Support implementation of hospital policies and clinical guidelines.

- Perform minor medical and surgical procedures within scope of practice

Minimum Qualifications

- Diploma or Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.

- Registered and licensed by the Clinical Officers Council (COC)

- Valid practicing license.

- At least 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience (internship included)

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an added advantage .
