POSITION: CLEANERINTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUNDLilongwe Handling Company Limited (LIHACO) is a wholly Malawi Government owned commercial entity established in 2000. The core business of the company is to provide to provide passenger, ramp and cargo handling services to national and international airlines, travel & tour and lounge services to passengers traveling in and out of Malawi Airports. The Company is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant position at Bakili Muluzi International Airport and Kamuzu International Airport.Post: Cleaner (LH 10)Responsible to: HousekeeperResponsible for: NonePurpose: To maintain sanitation and hygiene at LIHACO premises and in the Aircraft.Main DutiesCleaning offices, check
- in counters, aircraft cabin and washrooms.Participating in cleaning GSE and mobilizing cleaning tools.Draining and disposing of wastes from Aircraft and toilet service vehiclesScrubbing water service vehicle tankFilling portable water in the AircraftChocking and coning the AircraftCollecting foreign object debrisParticipating in assisting physically challenged passengersPerforming messengerial rolesEducation QualificationMinimum MSCE.Work ExperienceCleaning experience will be an added advantage.Method of applicationApplications which meet the above requirements should be submitted with a detailed up to date Curriculum Vitae (CVs) specifying qualifications, experience, copies of certificates, contact details and three traceable referees not later than Friday 21st August 2026 to:The Chief Executive OfficerLilongwe Handling CompanyP.O.
