## Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

- The Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, & delivering delicious, nutritious, & visually appealing meals for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have more experience in food production, a strong understanding of dietary requirements, & a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety & hygiene.

### Key Responsibilities

- Plan and prepare meals that meet the dietary and nutritional needs of patients, including specialized diets.

- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure cost-effective use of ingredients.

- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

- Train and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

- Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare professionals to create meal plans that support patient recovery & wellness.

- Ensure meals are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

- Handle special requests and accommodate dietary restrictions as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a hospital, healthcare facility, or large-scale food service environment.

- Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and meal planning.

- Excellent culinary skills and creativity in menu design.

- Familiarity with food safety regulations.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.

- Interviews will be done on Rolling basis
