About the Role

Country Bistro is looking for a skilled, passionate and dependable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an assigned kitchen station, maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation, and supporting the kitchen team in consistently delivering quality dishes to our guests.

### Key Responsibilities

- Section Management: Manage and oversee key kitchen stations, such as the grill, sauté and salad sections.

- Food Preparation: Prepare, cook and plate dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.

- Quality & Safety: Inspect ingredients for freshness and ensure adherence to food hygiene, health and safety standards.

- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels for the assigned station and communicate supply needs or reorders to the senior chef.

- Staff Supervision: Guide, train and supervise junior chefs working within the assigned station.

- Creativity & Innovation: Assist with menu development, daily specials and seasonal menu changes.

Qualifications & Experience

### The ideal candidate should have

- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a professional kitchen.

- A Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field.

- Strong food preparation, cooking and presentation skills.

- Good understanding of food hygiene, health and safety standards.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

- Strong teamwork, organisation and communication skills.

- A passion for quality, consistency and culinary creativity.
