The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site work.
A category builder with a P&L mindset
- You have run category or brand portfolios in FMCG and can show how your strategy, pricing and portfolio choices moved revenue, share and margin — not just awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related field; professional or postgraduate Marketing qualification advantageous
- Minimum 7–8 years’ progressive FMCG Marketing, Category or Brand experience
- Demonstrated experience managing category strategy, portfolio, innovation and financial performance
- Experience leading brands, people and cross-functional projects
- FMCG experience essential; food manufacturing or food-category experience strongly preferred
Food is your category
- Capwell has a strong preference for leaders from food manufacturing or food categories —flour, rice, grains, staples, snacks or adjacent. You understand the economics of staple foods and the shoppers who buy them.
