The Carwash Cleaner is responsible for providing high-quality cleaning and detailing services for customer vehicles and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the carwash facility. The role requires diligence, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Cleaning and Detailing:
  • Perform exterior washing, drying, waxing, and polishing of all vehicle types.
    
  • Clean and vacuum vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, and dashboards, ensuring a high level of finish.
    
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and door jambs.
    
• Facility Maintenance:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the washing bays, equipment, and surrounding work areas.
    
  • Clean and sanitize customer waiting areas, restrooms, and staff break areas (adapted from Housekeeper facility maintenance).
    
  • Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
    
• Safety and Standards:
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the correct handling, storage, and disposal of cleaning agents and chemicals (adapted from Housekeeper safety adherence).
    
  • Wear and maintain appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary (adapted from Housekeeper safety adherence).
    
• Support and Organization:
  • Organize and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, tools, and products.
    
  • Assist with customer flow management by directing vehicles when necessary.
    
  • Communicate with team members regarding any maintenance or supply needs.
    

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school certificate or equivalent.
  
• Certificate of Good Conduct (required for janitorial roles).
  
• Copy of National Identification Document (ID/Passport).
  

Experience

• No prior professional experience is required, but experience in manual labor or a service-oriented role is an added advantage.
  

Skills & Competencies Required

• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy to ensure vehicles are spotless.
  
• Ability to follow verbal instructions precisely and work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
  
• Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
