Application Deadline: 6 July 2026About Theatre for a Change (TfaC)Theatre for a Change (TfaC) is a Malawian non-governmental organisation dedicated to advancing gender equality, social justice, and improved health and rights outcomes through innovative participatory approaches, including interactive theatre, dialogue, and behaviour change communication.As the current Strategic Plan (2022–2026) comes to an end, TfaC is seeking a qualified consultant or consulting firm to facilitate a strategic review process and develop a transformative Strategic Plan for 2026–2030.The AssignmentThe selected consultant/firm will:Conduct a light-touch review of TfaC’s 2022–2026 Strategic Plan.Analyse the evolving political, social, economic, technological, civic space, and donor landscape.Facilitate consultations with Board members, management, staff, and key stakeholders.Develop a comprehensive Strategic Plan (2026–2030), including:Theory of ChangeStrategic priorities and objectivesImplementation frameworkResource mobilisation and sustainability strategyMonitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) frameworkSupport validation and finalisation of the strategy.Who Should Apply?We invite applications from experienced consultants or consulting firms with:Proven expertise in strategic planning and organisational development.Experience working with NGOs, development organisations, social enterprises, or similar institutions.Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.Experience developing Theories of Change, implementation frameworks, and MEAL systems.Knowledge of gender equality, social justice, civic engagement, behaviour change communication, and development programming.Familiarity with the Malawi context and the wider development sector.DeliverablesThe successful consultant/firm will produce:Inception ReportStrategic Review and Context Analysis ReportDraft and Final Strategic Plan 2026–2030Final Consultancy ReportApplication RequirementsInterested consultants and firms should submit:Technical Proposal (including methodology and approach)Relevant experience and examples of similar assignmentsFinancial ProposalSubmissionApplications should be submitted electronically to:info@tfacafrica.comDeadline: 6 July 2026Full terms of reference are available here.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Theatre for a Change (TfaC) is committed to promoting inclusion, innovation, and transformative social change.
