Job description

As the Business Solutions Architect, you will bridge business strategy and technology by designing end-to-end solution architectures that support enterprise objectives. You will work closely with business leaders, product teams, delivery teams, and technical specialists to ensure solutions are aligned with architecture standards, integration principles, and long-term business goals. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain enterprise solution architectures that align with business strategy and technology roadmaps.Lead the architecture and design of solutions across digital channels.Define integration approaches using SOAP, REST, web services, XML, and JSON.Develop domain models, solution blueprints, and architectural artefacts.Drive data integration strategies, including data mapping and operational data structures (ODS).Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions.Provide architectural governance throughout the project lifecycle.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that deliver business value.Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership on enterprise initiatives.Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.TOGAF Certification.Minimum of 15 years' experience within the IT industry.Extensive experience as a Business Solutions Architect within complex enterprise environments.Strong experience implementing enterprise solutions across digital channels.Extensive knowledge of SOAP, REST, Web Services, XML, and JSON.Strong understanding of data integration, data mapping, and Operational Data Stores (ODS).Experience in domain modelling and enterprise application design.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.The reference number for this position is NG61432 which is a permanent, Hybrid role in Cape Town, offering a salary of up to R1.25mil per annum salary negotiable based on experience.
