What are we looking for?
We are looking for a commercially minded Business Intelligence Manager with strong experience across data analytics, business intelligence, data modelling and advanced analytics.
You will lead a small team of data analysts while partnering closely with senior stakeholders and business units to turn complex data into meaningful, actionable insights.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, naturally curious about how data flows through systems and passionate about data quality, innovation and using technology to solve business problems.
What will you do?
Develop and implement data strategies that generate meaningful customer and business insights
Partner with multiple business units to identify opportunities for growth and improved performanceOversee recurring business reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency and data integrityDesign and implement data models and analytical solutions to extract valuable insights from complex datasetsLead, mentor and manage a small team of data analystsDrive data and analytics projects from concept through to implementationPromote the adoption of advanced analytics, including machine learning and predictive modellingEnhance data visualisation and reporting capabilities to make insights more accessible and actionableProvide data-driven intelligence to support monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews and planning processesIdentify opportunities to improve data quality and investigate the root causes of data-related issuesStay abreast of emerging data, analytics, AI and technology trends and identify opportunities for innovationManage relationships with external data, analytics and technology partnersOversee website analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights across the organisationSupport the transition towards AI-powered models and solutionsDrive the integration of legacy systems with modern analytics platformsWork closely with senior management to translate complex data into clear business recommendationsAct as a strategic data and analytics partner to the broader businessWhat do you need?
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, statistics or a related field7–10 years' experience within data, analytics or business intelligenceAt least 3 years' experience in a managerial or team leadership capacityStrong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI and QuickSightProven experience in data analysis, data modelling and data warehousingStrong understanding of data flows, data quality and data integrityExperience working with complex datasets and identifying root causes of data issuesExposure to machine learning, predictive modelling and/or advanced analyticsStrong analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into clear business recommendationsProven ability to lead and develop a high-performing analytics teamStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsA goal-oriented mindset, strong work ethic and a genuine curiosity about dataA proactive and innovative approach to leveraging technology and analytics to solve business challenges
