Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of Smile Life Insurance Company Limited.RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify new potential clients, approach them, craft proposals and close deals.Facilitates the growth of the business.Writing of proposals and specificationsManage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activitiesConduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future productsAnalyse customer research, current market conditions and competitor informationDevelop and implement marketing plans and projects for new existing productsManage the productivity of the marketing plans and projectsLiaise with media and advertising agentsBuild and develop a marketing team which is competent, commercially astute, dedicated and efficientResearch, develop and implement a Brand/ and communication strategy, standards and practices company-wide that elicit the behaviour, emotion and recognition objectives of the companyDevelop key message for all audience to communication our core brand identity.Leads agencies and internal team members where appropriate to execute all communication activities and public relations (marketing materials, advertising, client communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, press releases, content for trade publications, etc)Crafting training programmes and conducting customer care and sales workshops.Oversee the writing of the press, annual reports, advertisement, and related materials.Manage media relations, research editorial opportunities and build relations with key industry media.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure proper messaging of company beliefs and service offeringsProvide quarterly reports to the Board and Management. To include but not to be limited to reporting to the status of prioritised marketing and communication activities. Reporting will be both historical and forward looking.Contributes to the total effectiveness of the department, communication openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member.Budget management.
