Position: Business Development and Marketing Personnel
Location: Lusaka (with local and international travel where required)
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Acquisition & Platform Signups
- Identify, approach, and onboard transporters, logistics companies, corporates, SMEs, NGOs, and other institutions onto the Jibu platform.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of Jibu fuel management solutions to prospective clients.
2. Partner Fuel Station Development
- Identify and recruit third-party fuel stations to join the Jibu partner network.
- Negotiate commercial terms, commissions, and operational agreements with partner stations.
3. Merchant Network Expansion
- Recruit merchant stores and service providers such as auto spares shops, supermarkets, restaurants, truck service centers, and other businesses to offer supplementary products and services through Jibu.
- Negotiate commission structures and partnership agreements with merchants.
4. Brand Marketing & Business Growth
- Promote and position Jibu as a leading fuel management and digital commerce platform locally and internationally.
- Execute marketing campaigns, activations, exhibitions, and awareness programs.
5. Client Training & Support
- Train customers and partners on how to use the Jibu platform effectively.
- Assist customers with onboarding, system setup, and transaction processes.
6. Performance & Reporting
- Meet and exceed monthly sales, customer acquisition, fuel volume, and revenue targets.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports.
7. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fuel stations, merchants, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen partnerships and identify additional business opportunities.
8. Compliance & Operational Support
- Ensure all partnerships and customer engagements comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Support operational teams in resolving issues affecting customer experience.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of new customer signups per month
- Number of partner stations onboarded
- Number of merchants onboarded
- Monthly fuel transaction volumes
- Revenue growth targets achieved
- Customer retention levels
- Brand visibility and engagement metrics
- Client training completion rate
