Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Portfolio Growth
- Drive acquisition, growth, and retention of SME and Business Banking customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within assigned segments.
- Deepen existing customer relationships through cross-selling of the Bank’s products and services.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Provide tailored financial solutions that meet customer needs and support business growth.
- Deliver exceptional customer experience and resolve customer concerns promptly.
Credit Assessment & Portfolio Management
- Structure, analyze, and prepare quality credit proposals.
- Conduct financial statement analysis and recommend appropriate lending solutions.
- Monitor portfolio performance to ensure portfolio quality and profitability.
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to the Bank’s credit policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
- Actively manage portfolio risk, including PAR and NPL accounts, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain high standards of governance, compliance, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in SME, Business Banking, Corporate Banking, or Relationship Management within a financial institution.
- Proven track record in business acquisition, portfolio growth, and revenue generation.
- Strong credit appraisal and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent negotiation, networking, sales, and relationship management capabilities.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to meet challenging targets.
- Demonstrated understanding of banking regulations, risk management, and credit policies.
