Job Specification

- Malindi Water and Sanitation Company seeks to recruit a qualified and motivated Briquette Production Supervisor to oversee briquette production operations within its sludge-to-resource programme at Sabaki Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Environmental Science, or related field with a minimum working experience of 3 years OR

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Environmental Science, or related field with a minimum working experience of 5 years.

- Practical experience in briquette or biomass production.

- Basic electro-mechanical Plant and process troubleshooting ability.

- Strong understanding of safety and hygiene requirements.

### Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily briquette production activities including carbonization, drying, mixing, and pressing.

- Ensure safe handling of sludge-derived feedstock and adherence to OHS standards.

- Operate and maintain briquette production machinery and equipment.

- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with set specifications.

- Maintain production records, inventory logs, and equipment checklists

- Train and supervise production staff and casual workers
