The successful candidate will be responsible for leading brewing operations, ensuring the production of high-quality beer in line with company specifications, while optimizing productivity, maintaining safety standards, and developing team performance. ### Key Responsibilities - Lead and supervise brewing operations to ensure production targets are achieved. - Ensure beer is brewed according to company quality specifications and recipes. - Monitor production processes, eliminate losses, and maintain accurate production records. - Coordinate and support scheduled maintenance activities. - Conduct quality checks throughout the brewing process and ensure compliance with quality standards. - Manage raw materials, stock reconciliation, and inventory control. - Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and hygiene standards. - Lead, coach, train, and develop brewing team members. - Conduct performance management activities and foster a positive work environment. - Facilitate team meetings, problem-solving initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. - Maintain effective communication with team members, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. ### Qualifications and Experience ### Minimum Requirements - Degree in Engineering, Production Management, Brewing Technology, or a Science-related field. - Opaque Beer Brewing Certificate or equivalent qualification. - At least two (2) years’ experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. - Proven ability to lead teams and manage operational processes. - Further studies in Brewing Technology or Business Administration. - Familiarity with SAP or other computerized management systems. - Previous leadership or supervisory experience. ### Desired Competencies - Strong leadership and supervisory skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - High attention to detail. - Self-motivated with a bias for action. - Strong team player with a commitment to continuous improvement. ### What We Offer - Opportunity to work for one of Zambia’s leading beverage manufacturers. - Professional growth and development opportunities. - Dynamic and collaborative working environment. - Competitive remuneration and benefits package. ### How to Apply Interested candidates should submit an application letter, detailed CV and copies of academic and professional qualifications (single PDF) to: Email: recruitment@natbrew.co.zm Shortlisted candidates contacted only.
