Job description

Brand Officer at M.P. Shah Hospital. Responsible for developing and implementing brand initiatives, coordinating marketing activities, and maintaining consistent brand messaging across communication platforms. Requires a relevant qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field. The role is based in Nairobi with duties performed on-site.

Job Purpose

The overall purpose of this role is to build relationships with both internal and external clients to realise new markets and retain existing clients, by managing different accounts to ensure maximum visibility and attain revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Content and proposals development – Creative content and information development for communications, proposals, campaigns and public relations initiatives, executing visibility growth campaigns and events for the different accounts handled.
• Planning – Facilitate decision making and provide guidelines on plans for meetings, campaigns and industry events, with excellent time management and organization.
• Communications and PR initiatives – Facilitate formal and timely corporate communications during campaigns, events and all public relations initiatives.
• Internal and external relationships management – Ensure in-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events to facilitate business relations internally and externally.
• Reporting – Give reports of activities on a weekly and monthly basis, and as required, concerning accounts handled.

Key Performance Indicators

• Brand visibility index
• New business volume
• New patient volume
• 50% conversion of the target marketing campaign
• Execution of visibility and marketing campaigns per month

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration, marketing, public relations or a related course
• A diploma in either CPA, CFA, CIMA or equivalent
• 2 years’ experience in communication, marketing or public relations
• Proven marketing campaign experience
• Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
