Job summary: We are seeking a skilled bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The bookkeeper will be responsible for accurately recording all financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and managing our company's general ledger. Key responsibilities: Accurately record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.Reconcile accounts and ensure that all transactions are correctly entered into the accounting system.Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Manage the company's general ledger and ensure that it is up-to-date and accurate.Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.Maintain an organised and efficient filing system for all financial records.Respond to financial inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues.Required: At least two years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft SuiteExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Passionate about accountingAnalytical thinking skillsAssertive and proactiveStrong interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of a team
