The SACCO draws its membership from Civil Servants and the private sector.An Opportunity has arisen for SACCO members to take up positions as Board of Directors. They will play an oversight role, collectively in providing assurance to the members at large on SACCO’s operations.BOARD OF DIRECTORS (2 POSITIONS)Must have been a SACCO member for a minimum continuous period of two (2) yearsMust have a shareholding of at least MK500,000 by 21st January, 2027 of the election yearMust have a deposit balance of at least MK50,000 for the past 3 monthsMust be honest, transparent, corrupt free, without criminal record and should not expect special favours from the SACCO by virtue of positionMust have no record of loan delinquency, default or arrears at any me during their membership.Must be of proven integrity, honesty, transparency and free from corruption, no criminal record or conviction in any court of law.Must be of sound mind and demonstrate selfless, priorizing the SACCO’s interest above personal gain.ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of a Diploma in any field from recognized Instuon.Those with Degrees and profession Cerficates will have an added advantage.Lady members are encouraged to apply.NOTEMust attach Curriculum Vitae (CV).The certificates should be authenticated by a lawyer, or the office of the DC.All potential candidates who meet the above qualifications will complete a fit and proper test questionnaire form and attach to the application letter which will be submitted to the Reserve Bank of Malawi.All applicants should disclose their employment number in their applicationsThose qualified and short-listed shall stand for elections as per SACCO by-Laws.APPLICATION PROCEDUREThose interested and meet the above qualifications should submit their applications, CV and authencated cerficates to:The Nominations CommitteeMphunzitsi SACCOStansfield HouseP .
