## Job Description

Sales Jobs. Pioneer Assurance Jobs. BD Officer (Banks & MFIs) expanding the Corporate Life Assurance portfolio through Banks and MFIs, requiring a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or Marketing with at least 4 years experience in Business Development and dealing with financial institutions, in an insurance environment, on-site role.

We are looking for a Business Development Officer who will play a key role in expanding the Corporate Life Assurance portfolio hence driving the growth and success of the company. The incumbent will be responsible for acquiring profitable new business through Banks & MFIs and implementing strategies to help achieve the company’s sales and revenue targets.

### Key Responsibilities

- • Acquisition of new Banks & MFIs’ relationships. Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company

- • Build and maintain strong relationships with bank staff to enhance business collaboration

- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments to develop and implement business development strategies

- • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients

- • Achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets per Month

- • Provide product information, customer presentations and frontline training support

- • Coordinate documentation, underwriting requirements and policy issuance Monitor industry trends and market conditions

Qualifications & Experience

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or Marketing and any other Business related field.

- Significant progress in professional papers. i.e. (Diploma in Insurance, AIIK, CIM etc.)

- At least 4 years of experience in Business Development, sales, or a related field.

- Experience dealing with financial institutions.

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Experience managing budgets and reviewing financial statements
