Who we are looking for:
A curious and driven Junior Journalist to research, interview and write engaging news content for a professional audience within the travel and tourism industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their journalism skills, build industry knowledge and work closely with experienced editors in a fast-paced environment.

What will you do:
Research and write accurate, engaging news stories for B2B publicationsIdentify newsworthy stories, trends and angles within the travel and tourism industryConduct interviews with industry stakeholders and gather relevant informationAttend industry events, launches and press briefings to source stories and contentFollow up on leads, developments and information to ensure accurate reportingTurn complex industry developments into clear, informative and engaging articlesWork closely with editors to develop stories and improve reporting and writing skillsMeet daily deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detailStay up to date with current affairs, business news and developments across the travel and tourism sectorWhat will you need:
A relevant bachelor&rsquo;s degree. A journalism degree is advantageous but not essential.One to two years&rsquo; practical writing experience gained through journalism, internships, freelance work, communications, content creation, student publications or a similar environmentAn excellent command of written and spoken EnglishConfidence to contact people, conduct interviews and follow up on informationAn interest in business, current affairs and the economics of travel and tourismStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyGood organisational skills and the ability to meet daily deadlinesAn outgoing, professional approach and willingness to attend industry eventsA valid driver&rsquo;s licence and reliable access to your own transportKnowledge of the travel, tourism or aviation sectors would be advantageous but is not essential
