## Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, infrastructure, security, cloud migration, integration, and optimisation.
You will play a key role in translating business requirements into end-to-end cloud architectures while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and business objectives.

Responsibilities
Design end-to-end Azure solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.Develop architecture diagrams, solution designs, and technical documentation.Lead cloud migration and modernisation initiatives.Design and manage Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, networking, storage, and database services.Implement cloud security best practices using Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Azure Key Vault.Design high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.Develop integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIs, and hybrid cloud technologies.Implement monitoring and performance optimisation using Azure Monitor.Drive cloud cost management, governance, and resource utilisation optimisation.Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, risk, and governance requirements.Explore and support solutions involving Azure AI Services and IoT technologies.Qualifications and experience: 
Proven experience as an Azure Solutions Architect or in a similar cloud architecture role.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud architecture principles.Experience in cloud migration, modernisation, and enterprise solution design.Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance.Experience with Azure networking, storage, databases, and integration services.Knowledge of high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.Experience with cloud monitoring, performance tuning, and cost optimisation.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Microsoft certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.Experience with Azure AI Services, IoT, automation, and hybrid cloud solutions.Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.The reference number for this position is NG61551 which is a permanent, Hybrid role offering a salary of up to R800k per annum salary negotiable based on experience.
