We’re on the hunt for an experienced IT Azure Data Architect to join a dynamic team in Sandton, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping enterprise data strategy and delivering cutting-edge Azure-based solutions within the insurance industry.

- Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performing Azure data platforms.
- Lead exciting cloud modernization and legacy migration initiatives.
- Create robust data models that empower business intelligence and analytics.
- Champion data governance, quality, and master data management practices.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to unlock the full value of data.
- Drive innovation through modern analytics, automation, and cloud technologies.

What We’re Looking For
- Relevant IT or Business Degree (BCom, BSc, or equivalent)
- 7+ years of enterprise data architecture experience
- 5+ years within the insurance industry
- Strong Azure data platform expertise
- Experience delivering large-scale cloud and hybrid solutions
- Knowledge of POPIA, GDPR, data governance, and security best practices
- Microsoft/Azure certifications are a bonus!
Reference Number for this position is GZ61444 which is a permanent Hybrid position based in Sandton offering a salary of R1.2m per annum, negotiable based on experience and ability.
