Role Overview

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and passionate Assistant Spa Therapist to support the spa team in delivering excellent treatments and a relaxing experience for clients. The successful candidate will assist with treatments, maintain high hygiene standards, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure clients receive warm and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with massages, facials, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, and other spa services as required.

- Prepare treatment rooms before and after each appointment.

- Ensure all spa equipment, towels, products, and supplies are clean and ready for use.

- Welcome clients professionally and assist with their basic needs and requests.

- Follow proper hygiene, health, and safety procedures at all times.

- Support senior therapists during treatments where required.

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the spa and treatment areas.

- Monitor stock levels and report when products or supplies need replenishing.

- Provide professional and courteous customer service.

- Maintain client confidentiality and a high level of professionalism.

- Stay informed about spa products, treatments, and procedures.

Requirements

- Certificate or diploma in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, Spa Therapy, or a related field.

- Previous experience in a spa, beauty salon, hotel, or wellness environment is an advantage.

- Knowledge of basic massage and beauty treatments.

- Good personal grooming and hygiene.

- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

- Friendly, patient, and professional personality.

- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior therapists.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
