## Job Description

Job Summary: To support the Relationship Manager with the day-to-day management and maintenance of an allocated portfolio, serving as a central contact point for clients and enabling efficient delivery of their banking needs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Support the Relationship Manager in managing portfolio performance, client service, credit, compliance and operational requirements.Respond to client requests and resolve queries and complaints within agreed timelines, taking ownership through to completion.Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, mandates, documentation, account information and portfolio reports.Prepare documentation and provide input for credit applications, annual reviews, facility requests and related credit motivations.Monitor account conduct, expiring limits, excesses, overdue reviews and other indicators of portfolio risk, escalating concerns promptly.Ensure adherence to KYC, onboarding, regulatory, compliance and internal risk requirements.Identify cross-sell, retention and new business opportunities and refer qualified leads to the Relationship Manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
A first degree in Business, Commerce or a related field.At least three years’ relevant experience in Business or Commercial Banking, including portfolio management, branch sales or client service.Practical experience in preparing credit motivations and a sound understanding of lending principles.Knowledge of banking products, client onboarding, KYC, risk and compliance requirements.Developing StrategiesDirecting PeopleEmbracing ChangeEmpowering IndividualsEstablishing RapportMaking DecisionsEconomic Capital ManagementFinancial AcumenProcess GovernanceRisk IdentificationRisk ReportingRisk Response StrategyRisk/ Reward Thinking
