## Job Description

University Jobs, Alupe University Jobs. Responsible for teaching and assessing students, preparing course materials, conducting research, supervising student projects, supporting curriculum development, and participating in academic programmes and university activities. Requires a relevant Master’s degree, with a PhD an added advantage depending on the discipline, and relevant university teaching experience where specified. The position is based in Busia and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Nursing/Midwifery from recognized and accredited universities.

- Registered or registerable for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing or a related discipline in a recognized university.

- Valid Annual Practicing License issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.

- Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications.

- Evidence of potential for university teaching, research, and scholarly publication.

### Key Responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate courses in Nursing.

- Prepare teaching and learning materials.

- Set, invigilate, and mark examinations and assignments.

- Conduct research under the guidance of senior academic staff.

- Supervise undergraduate projects and experiential learning.

- Prepare student progress reports.

- Publish scholarly papers and contribute to academic books and other scholarly outputs.

- Participate in departmental activities and community engagement.
