VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT @ CHOICE PRODUCTS LIMITEDPOSITION: ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANTLocation: MzuzuOVERVIEWChoice Products Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Assistant Accountant.JOB TYPE: Full TimeApplication Deadline: 26th October, 2026POSITION: ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANTDUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRaw Material Reconciliation: Monitor and record incoming raw materials.Stock Count Audits: Participate in regular physical stock counts of both raw materials and finished products.Wastage Reporting: Track and account for raw material losses and production spoilage.Overhead Allocation: Help allocate factory overheads.Accounts Payable (AP): Process invoices from suppliers and verify them against Goods Received Notes (GRN) and payment processing.Tax Documentation: Assist in preparing monthly statutory returns such as VAT, withholding tax, Teveta Levy and payroll deductions (PAYE).Reconciliation Timeliness: Completing weekly and monthly stock-take reconciliations on schedule.Variance Control: Speed and accuracy in identifying discrepancies between physical factory stock and system records.Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.Any other duties as assigned from time to time.KEY REQUIREMENTSJob Requirements & Qualifications:Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.Experience: 1–3 years experience in a manufacturing or trading environment.Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and ability to collaborate with departmental heads.HOW TO APPLYAll applications should be sent to the following email address before 26th October, 2026, clearly marking the position you are applying for in the subject line.Email: chonamufipa@gmail.comApplication Address:Choice Products LimitedP.
