## Job Description

Amref Health Africa in Ethiopia is recruiting a Project Assistant for the SRH Next Alliance Project in Chifra woreda, Afar Region. The role supports field implementation of youth-friendly, gender-responsive and disability-inclusive sexual and reproductive health services and information. Work includes coordinating with local government offices, health facilities, schools and youth and women-led groups; supporting referrals and community engagement; and helping with activity logistics, monitoring, documentation and reporting. Frequent field travel is essential. The vacancy states Chifra as the duty station; the on-site classification reflects this field-based location rather than an explicit remote-work policy. ## Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Midwifery, Health Promotion, Sociology, Social Work, Development Studies or a relevant field. At least two years of relevant experience in community-based health, SRH, youth, gender, protection or development projects. Experience with local government, health facilities, schools or community groups is desirable. Ability to support field monitoring, documentation, basic data management, training or events, and reports. Good written and spoken English; relevant local language fluency is strongly preferred.
