Job description

Qualifications

• KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Valid Kenyan Driving Licence – Class BCE, with the appropriate category for the ambulance being driven.
• Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), First Aid, or a recognized ambulance driver/paramedic training course.
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct and a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience, preferably with experience driving ambulances or other emergency response vehicles.
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures, patient handling, and safe transportation of critically ill or injured patients.
• Ability to operate and perform basic checks on ambulance equipment and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Excellent knowledge of Kenyan roads and traffic regulations.
• Good communication, teamwork, decision-making, and stress-management skills
