Responsibilities Product Strategy & Portfolio Growth Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for Loans, Savings, and Wealth products Identify customer needs, market opportunities, and emerging trends in digital financial services Drive customer acquisition, activation, and retention across assigned product portfolios Develop business cases and product proposals for new financial services Benchmark products against industry best practices and competitor offerings Deliver sustainable growth in active users, loan disbursements, savings balances, investments, and revenue Product Development & Lifecycle Management Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of lending, savings, and wealth products Define business requirements, customer journeys, user stories, and product specifications Lead product launches and enhancements from concept through implementation Collaborate with Technology teams to prioritize and deliver new features Monitor product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvements Ensure products remain competitive, relevant, and customer focused Portfolio Performance & Commercial Management Drive growth in loan portfolio volumes, savings balances, investment values, and product profitability Monitor portfolio quality, repayment performance, customer activity, and revenue generation Develop pricing, campaign, and product optimization strategies Analyze product performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary Support achievement of business targets related to customer growth and financial performance Partner & Stakeholder Management Manage relationships with banking partners, lending institutions, investment providers, asset managers, and other ecosystem partners Coordinate product development initiatives with Technology, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams Negotiate and support commercial agreements that enhance product value propositions Ensure seamless integration and collaboration with external partners Risk, Compliance & Governance Ensure products comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, AML, KYC, and consumer protection guidelines Work closely with Risk and Compliance teams to monitor portfolio risks Support audits, regulatory reporting, and due diligence processes Identify and mitigate operational, credit, and fraud risks affecting assigned products Ensure customer data privacy and security standards are maintained Performance management & Reporting Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly portfolio performance reviews Monitor and report on product KPIs including active customers, loan disbursements, repayment rates, savings balances, investment values, transaction volumes, and revenues Develop dashboards, forecasts, and management reports Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and customer insights Undertake any other duties assigned by the line manager  Qualifications Educational Level:  Bachelor’s in business administration, Finance, Economics, Banking, Commerce, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field Relevant Experience  Minimum 3 years' experience in Product Management, Digital Financial Services, Banking, Fintech, Mobile Money, Lending, Savings, or Investment Products Strong understanding of digital lending, savings, and wealth management ecosystems Experience managing financial products throughout their lifecycle Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and digital product management tools Strong understanding of lending models, credit scoring, customer behavior Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance in financial services Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience with digital platforms, mobile apps, and API integrations Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills MBA or professional financial certification is an added advantage
