## Job Description

Teaching Jobs. HiH EA Jobs. Adult Literacy Intern supporting delivery of literacy and numeracy training to adult learners through community-based programmes, requiring a KCSE certificate, a Certificate in Adult Education and Basic Adult Education Levels I, II and III training, with fluency in English, Kiswahili and Maasai, in an NGO community development environment, on-site role in Kajiado.

The role will support deliver literacy and numeracy training to adult learners through community-based programmes, enabling acquisition of foundational skills that support improved livelihoods, personal development, and active participation in society.

Qualifications & Competencies

- A KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification, a Certificate in Adult Education or equivalent qualification from a government-recognized institution, and Basic Adult Education Levels I, II and III training under the national adult literacy curriculum.

- Good knowledge and understanding of the local community, culture and context within the area of deployment.

- Fluency in English, Kiswahili and the relevant local/community language( Maasai).
