### Basic Job Summary

The job holder will be responsible for implementing the administrative functions of innovation team.

This position involves managing a team, coordinating research activities, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and external regulations in Strathmore University.

### Duties & Responsibilities

Data Management and Reporting

Oversee data management and record-keeping for research projects.

Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and security of research data

Prepare regular reports on research activities, outcomes, and impact.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for internal and external reporting purposes.

Promote the utilization of university mandated reporting platforms such as RMS and repositories such as Research Administrative Support

Facilitate research and innovation activities, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities.

Facilitate collaboration between researchers, departments, and external partner.

Engage with institutional leadership and faculty to promote a research supportive environment.

Facilitate the implementation of initiatives to promote adherence to ethical standards in research activities.

Provide input to and implement the research office administrative budget.

### Minimum Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

### Work Experience

Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience.
