Job Summary: As an Administrative Coordinator, you will provide first-line administrative and service desk support, help organize operational data, and support employee engagement activities. You will work under guidance from senior colleagues while building your administrative and operational skills across a variety of tasks. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations service desk supportProvide first-line support and troubleshooting for Operations-related issues escalated through the ticketing system.Log and categorize incidents and service requests, resolving routine issues or escalating to the appropriate team.Contribute to the improvement of service desk processes and procedures.Operations data supportCollect and organize data related to Operations department metrics.Assist in analyzing operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Employee engagement supportAssist in implementing employee engagement programs and initiatives.Support the coordination of employee events and activities, providing administrative support for engagement efforts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engagement projects.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.1–2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.Must-have skills (required)Customer service support: responds to common service requests, providing information to enable fulfillment and maintaining accurate records.Basic budgeting awareness: understands basic budgeting principles and can assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenses.Data management: manages data with guidance, following data management protocols to ensure accuracy.Communication skills: communicates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, listens actively, and collaborates to achieve team goals.Planning and organization: plans own work within short time horizons, with a rational and organized approach to work.Decision-making: uses limited discretion in resolving issues, knowing when to seek guidance in unexpected situations.Basic knowledge management: able to maintain a knowledge management database and support capturing and classifying content.Proficient with G-Suite and standard office productivity tools.Nice-to-have skills (preferred)Exposure to employee engagement or events coordination.Familiarity with ticketing or service desk tools.
