EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The Zambia Institute of Secretaries (ZIS) is a statutory professional body established under the Zambia Institute of Secretaries Act No. 19 of 2022 to register and regulate the secretarial profession in Zambia. ZIS invites applications from suitably qualified, competent and experienced Zambians for the following positions:

ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Job Purpose

To support the Finance function through transaction processing, accurate record-keeping, reconciliations and sound financial administration.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants should have

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance or a related field from a recognised institution.
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or progress towards ZICA/ACCA is an added advantage.
• Full Grade 12 Certificate (five ‘O’ Levels with credits or better).
• At least three (3) years’ relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial procedures, Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
• Membership of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
• Strong numerical, analytical, organisational and communication skills, with integrity, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

The positions will be offered on terms and conditions of service determined by the Zambia Institute of Secretaries.
