TYPE OF COMPANY : Natkos Distributors limited is a general supply and distribution company specializing in ICT equipment, office equipment, stationery, printing, IT services and other general supplies, with additional financial services.
LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 6 Months

DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES

Answer telephone calls and provide needed information.

Organize, compile, update company records and documentation,

Provide clerical and administrative support to the finance executives.

Recording and filing all cash transactions.

Perform accounts payable functions in processing all incoming requests/invoices and distribute to appropriate staff for approval.

Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department’s overall policy

Ensure that established internal controls practices and procedures are fortified to guarantee proper management of financial transactions.

Help in payroll management, preparation and payment.

Ensure compliance with all company tax liabilities and statutory regulatory obligations.

Preparation and submission of monthly reports before the 5th of every month.

Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS – ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT (FINANCE)

Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (5) credits, including Mathematics and English.

Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.

Professional accounting qualification such as ZICA, ACCA or CIMA will be an added advantage.

At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, depending on the level of the position.

Good knowledge of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping and financial procedures.

Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashbooks, bank reconciliations and general ledger.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of statutory requirements such as ZRA, PAYE, NAPSA and NHIMA will be an advantage.

Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision.

High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
