VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT@ K2 TRANSFORMERSPOSITION: ACCOUNTING OFFICER Location: Lilongwe_________________________OVERVIEW We are a transformer and motor manufacturing and repair company located in Lilongwe, Malawi. We are looking for an Accounting Officer to handle accounting and financial matters.[Location]: Within Lilongwe, Malawi[Employment Conditions]Salary will be negotiated based on experience and company policy.An internship period may apply depending on experience.A probationary period will apply (same salary during probation).Accommodation may be provided.Lunch will be provided.In compliance with Malawian labour laws.[Key Responsibilities]Overall management of accounting books and financial records.Preparation and management of accounting documents related to purchases and sales.Tax calculation and filing, and management of related documents (VAT, PAYE, WHT, etc.).Liaison with tax authorities and external auditors.Monthly financial reporting.Other accounting and administrative support required for company operations.[Basic Requirements]Honest and diligent attitude.Willingness to comply with company rules and regulations.Commitment to continuous self-development and learning.Willingness to actively participate beyond one’s assigned area.Ability to lead tasks proactively with a positive attitude and demonstrate leadership.Strong sense of responsibility and ability to independently find solutions when problems arise.[Application Qualifications]Major in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.At least 3 years of practical experience in accounting and Malawian tax matters.Computer skills.[Preferred Qualifications]Proficiency in MS Office.Experience using accounting software.Accounting-related qualifications or certifications.Experience handling external audits.Application DocumentsCV and cover letterAcademic certificates and professional qualifications, if applicable.Expected salary (please state this in the application email.[Recruitment Process]Application screeningWritten testInterview[Deadline]Deadline: 20 September 2026, 5:00 PMEmail: k2txmw@gmail.comOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted individually.
