As a growing startup, we are building a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about innovation, integrity, and contributing to Malawi's agricultural transformation.Applications are invited from suitably qualified, committed, and self-motivated individuals to fill the following position.ACCOUNTANT (FULL-TIME)Reporting to: Management Location: Santhe, KasunguType of Contract: Full-TimeOverall RoleThe Accountant will manage the company's financial records, budgeting, reporting, and financial compliance while supporting sound business decision-making.Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare financial statements and management reports.- Manage budgets, cash flow, and financial records.- Process payments and maintain accounting systems.- Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements.- Prepare payroll and reconcile bank accounts.- Support procurement and inventory control.- Assist management with financial planning and analysis.- Ability to create educational video content is an added advantage
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.Qualifications and Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is an added advantage.- Strong analytical and organizational skills.- High level of integrity and professionalism.- Must be committed, hardworking, and willing to grow with a startup company.Mode of ApplicationInterested candidates should submit: Application letter, Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV), Copies of academic certificates, and Copy of National ID to info@hbfarm.co by 9th September 2026.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.HB Farm & Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
