Role Overview: Accountant Jobs in Kitwe We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Chartered Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing financial statements, managing audits, performing tax and payroll duties, and providing insightful financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Process and reconcile financial transactions, including loan disbursements and repayments Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports Conduct audits to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory
requirements
Manage financial systems, budgets, and forecasts to support business growth Assess financial risks and recommend preventive measures Provide professional advice on financial decisions and investment opportunities Coordinate internal audits and liaise with external auditors Ensure financial practices comply with statutory legislation and regulations Lead budgeting and financial planning processes Recommend cost reduction and profit enhancement strategies Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting financial compliance
Qualifications
and Experience Proven experience as a Chartered Accountant, preferably within lending institutions Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing processes Excellent analytical and mathematical
skills
