## Job Description

Qualification and Experience

- Minimum of OND or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years relevant electrical working experience, as well as in the food industry.

### Technical Competencies

- Technical skills to understand and repair a variety of air conditioning units, including commercial, residential and automotive systems.

- Problem-solving abilities to identify, diagnose and correct any issues or malfunctions in the air conditioning systems.

- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or high spaces.
Responsibilities

- Inspect and assess systems to identify any potential problems

- Repair or replace worn out or defective parts in the air conditioning system

- Install new air conditioning systems and ensure they are functioning efficiently

- Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning systems to ensure they are operating at optimal capacity

- Test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions

- Advise clients on how to reduce energy consumption and maintain their air conditioning systems

- Document each aspect of a system, including all maintenance and repair work, as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance

- Ensure all installations and repairs meet industry standards and comply with local, state, and federal regulations

- Respond to emergency calls for system repair and maintenance

- Install, maintain and repair air conditioning systems and equipment

- Identify maintenance risks on equipment

## Requirements

Education: Diploma, Associate's degree
Experience: 5 years
Languages: English
